I’m Yani (pronounced Shani)

I'm an artist living in Bathurst, in regional Australia. I'm primarily an oil painter, though my brain has many interests...so I've also used acrylics, watercolours and pastels. I feel life should be filled with things we love and which make us feel good about ourselves and our surroundings. That's why I create works that are colourful, vibrant, joyful and happy, just as life should be! I have been painting for some years, though I’ve started painting consistently since 2021, as my practice was catapulted when I was selected as one of Jumbled Art Superstar finalists! Since then, I’ve been featured in VANITY FAIR’s SEPTEMBER ISSUE, I’ve been exhibiting my artworks at galleries around Australia, and my works have been collected all over Australia , as well as NZ, US, UK, Singapore and Malaysia.
