Deliciousness, abundance and natural beauty

That’s what my fresh objects add to each and every one of my artworks.

They bring us together.

They spark joy.

They invite.

I get to touch, feel and smell these incredible gifts of nature each and every day.

And I have the honour to introduce this abundance to a growing number of homes across Australia & worldwide.

I believe art is a gift that keeps giving

Whether it’s to yourself or someone special in your life

A piece of art captures a feeling, a moment in time.

And over the years, it takes you back to all the special moments it witnesses as your life unfolds.

Dinner parties with your dearest friends, the rush to get the kids ready for school and all the tiny moments that make up your existence.

I want my art to be that brightvibrant pop of colour in the lived-in heart of your home that lifts you up for years to come.

“I absolutely love the design! This will be my first oil on canvas artwork! I’d love to make my first purchase of you. Your pieces are beautiful!!”

Hi, I’m Yani Lenehan (pronounced Shani)

At 27, I made the life-changing move from Argentina to Australia, fulfilling a long-held dream of living abroad. I’d always felt drawn to the English language and culture and, once there, I quickly found a sense of home, belonging, and creative inspiration.

A few years later, I reconnected with a passion I’d set aside for years—art. As a child, I liked drawing, but it was colour that truly captivated me. I began taking night classes in oil painting at Julian Ashton at The Rocks, and that creative spark returned.

Motherhood briefly paused my art journey, but the urge to create kept growing. Looking for balance, I carved out small moments—painting watercolours at the kitchen table after the kids went to bed...

...those quiet sessions reignited my love for painting and led me to join workshops and classes, helping me grow my confidence and artistic voice.

Art has become my way to recharge and connect with myself—a deeply personal, fulfilling pursuit. As an introvert, I cherish the solitude of creating, balanced with the joy of sharing with friends and fellow artists.

Today, I’m grateful to paint almost daily and to teach others about the magic of colour. Taking this leap has brought joy, purpose, and a deeper connection to who I am and what I love. I hope my work brings a sense of warmth and happiness to those who see it.

Thank you for being here.

With love and gratitude,

Yani xx
